I'm in, but the reality is that if you take the cash option you get about 180m and you lose about 50% of that to fed tax so you actually get paid about 90m of the supposed 320m
Still a tidy sum, but I don't think most know that.
I got 8 kids so investing for the long haul for their kids would be my main objective.
After retiring from ever working again that is! Long vacations and a nice home go without saying.

Yeah, 90 million would barely be worth it! :-)
I'd have tons of fun donating money to good causes. Which I'd get to pick. It would be like being Glinda the Good Witch. What a lovely thought. Set up a foundation with about $50 million of the merely $90 million ... people coming to me with happy songs and dances about all the wonderful things they could do with my money ... and it would be SO hard to pick. That would be painful, but oh well, into every life some rain must fall, and that would be my own personal little problem to bear.
See? I ought to get it. I would buy absolutely no fancy cars or designer clothes, because I am motivated only by Purity of Purpose. (Also because I think designer clothes are ugly and fancy cars are boring, which makes it very easy to be Pure.) And I really don't need more than one house. I'm not counting the beach house, of course, or any charming lofts I might feel like keeping. But yeah, $50 mil for Good Deeds, a spare $40 mil for whatever else ... I could manage nicely.
Ah well. Back to reality.

I'd fly a plane full of friends and IA forumites to Amsterdam for a week. I'd cover airfare & Hotel + $500/day spending money. A motley crew to be sure! lol
Yes, I waste lots of $$. I'd also spend LOTS of it buying silver and gold bullion and bury/hide it in many places - for emergency stash. Then find (if it's possible) a safe country/compound to live in - probably underground and in the wilderness - undetectable from satellite.

With that kind of money you may be able to afford to hire Mando to protect you. Then again, with the budget the senate dems just passed you'll be lucky to keep 10 cents on the dollar.

Had a buddy in high school that stole his dads gold card and flew to Amsterdam with a one way ticket. Nobody saw or heard from him for a few years. When he finally came back,he didn't speak for the first few months. He lived in the walk in closet (with a few bushes) in a another friends house. He would spend all day/night doing paradiddles on a pillow. Anyway,point is a week sounds about right.
(Anybody in Chico around the late 80's/early 90's remember Mikey the drummer?)
If I won all that $ I would become a very,very,very good tipper. And change my phone #.

i once spent a week trying to learn a triple ratamacue...
i decided not to be in the HS drum corp :)
it made left-right left-left right-left right-right look easy
:) I'd also give Brewster a million so the forum could have smileys and I'd buy dire a dairy...more to come...mando..hmmm..a used but good working sub comes to mind..
I wonder how many people have private party subs - haha
gotta google that!
